As a startup founder, you know that change is constant in today’s fast-paced world. Innovation is the driving force behind progress, and mobile connectivity has paved the way for the entrepreneurial spirit to thrive like never before. That’s why Adaverse is positioned at the forefront of the evolving landscape, especially in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East to accelerate impactful startups building the next wave of Web3 solutions.

Adaverse has invested in over 35 startups in these regions, carefully identifying highly motivated founders with unique ideas that can change the economic landscape and help usher in the emerging economy. With a growing digital economy projected to reach $180 billion by 2025, the potential for startups is immense. Venture capital funding has seen tremendous growth, especially in Web3, where investors recognize the potential of blockchain technology and its impact on various industries.

Our accelerator program is a 3-month-long incubation journey for startup projects that have launched their products and need to scale and expand their markets. Adaverse provides one-on-one sessions, identifying weak points, and helping fortify the team and product idea while also providing the necessary resources for startups in areas such as fundraising, product development, marketing, community growth, and harnessing Cardano infrastructural tools.

Progress So Far

The 2023 cohort started earlier this year, and already, the startups are making exciting progress. Each portfolio company has received individualized 1:1 workshops with over 20 hours of sessions that focus on their critical needs. Adaverse’s expert team, supported by connected ecosystem leaders from across continents and aided by partners from EMURGO and Everest Ventures Group, have led individualized 1:1 workshops for our portfolio companies, providing invaluable insights and guidance tailored to their critical needs.

One of the core areas in our training program is focused on tokenomics and building on the Cardano blockchain. This involves providing developers with the tools they need to succeed, which includes in-depth courses on Haskell and the Plutus program.

Our workshops covered a wide range of essential topics and training modules, including:

  • White paper development
  • Pitch deck creation and Pitching techniques
  • Cardano bootcamp
  • Fundraising strategy
  • Cardano Stablecoin USDA
  • Marketing strategy
  • Token creation
  • Community building
  • Product development
  • Team management
  • Finding product-market fit
  • Operations and Legal Considerations

But that’s not all!

In addition to these valuable resources, each company also received $25,000 in AWS Activate Credits, allowing them to access the world-class cloud computing resources of Amazon Web Services to power their products and services.

Adaverse’s accelerator program aims to equip portfolio companies with the necessary resources they need to succeed. By supporting startups in this way, the accelerator is contributing to a brighter and more innovative future. Adaverse is one of the leading accelerator hubs in the Web3 ecosystem in Africa and beyond, and with the support of the Cardano global community, the accelerator is proud to help its startups embark on their most resourceful journey towards scaling their businesses. The commitment to the growth and success of portfolio companies remains unwavering, and the accelerator eagerly anticipates Demo Day, where startups can showcase their progress and achievements.
